Summary

GymBum does not collect, send or sell your data. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or trackers. The developer has no access to anything you log.

What data the app stores

Your routines, exercises, sets, body weight, height and other profile details, your own photos and settings. Everything is stored only in your device's internal storage.

Internet connection

The app works offline and does not communicate with any server, the developer's or anyone else's.

Permissions

Photos and camera: only when you choose to add your own photo to an exercise. Notifications: to tell you when your rest is over. Files: only when you export or import a backup. You can revoke these permissions in your system settings.

Backups

The backup file contains all your data. If you email it or upload it to the cloud, it will be subject to that service's privacy policy. Keep it somewhere safe.

Health data

Your body weight and workouts are personal data that may be considered sensitive. They stay on your device and nobody else can access them through the app.

Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Delete all my data, or uninstall the app. Backups you have exported are not deleted: remove them yourself if you wish.

Your rights

Because GymBum does not process your data on any server, there is nothing the developer can access, correct or delete on your behalf: it is all under your control on your device. If you have any privacy questions, get in touch.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 16 without adult supervision.

This website

This website uses no cookies or analytics. The hosting provider (Netlify) may log technical data such as IP addresses to serve and protect it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with its date.
